EDI Commercial Director, Mr. Steven Broadbent, is joining a select UKTI Trade mission to Uganda and Tanzania centred upon Aid-funded Business in order to further deepen and strengthen the activities and partnerships of EDI in the region.
EDI in Tanzania has been operating for over 12 years becoming synonymous with quality data collection and project implementation across multiple sectors but with a particular expertise in International Development; many projects which would fall within the aid-funded business envelope.
Steven explains more:
“At EDI we are proud of our unique ability to blend the very best data collection tools, processes and methodologies to work to the highest International standards whilst retaining and incorporating our local knowledge to allow us to push the boundaries of what is possible and deliver the greatest levels of success. The means our ultimate data output is as robust and accurate as possible so all analysis and decision making based upon such evidence can be done so with the highest degree of confidence.
Joining this mission represents an excellent opportunity for EDI and various stakeholders in each country to forge new partnerships so that EDI’s work can be extended to as many relevant projects as possible – which should ensure that we, directly and indirectly meet our mission of ensuring we create a positive impact on people’s lives through our activities.
As our sustained growth continues we are able to broaden the reach of our work, our research teams traverse the globe supporting clients, our leading CAPI software, Surveybe is deployed by clients in 52 countries worldwide and yet our ‘home’ remains Tanzanian and East Africa where we conduct much of our own work and retain our permanent presence.”
The mission runs from 02 – 07 November 2015. More details can be found on the UKTI website.
